Things are tight and it got me thinking about what we do to save money. With an infant, two of our biggest money savers are cloth diapering and breastfeeding. The price of formula is really outrageous as are diapers, so Gavin costs us pretty much nothing ;-).
I also have been working on sewing and am venturing into sewing clothing and diapers...I want to start hitting Goodwill so I can recycle old shirts and sheets into fun funky clothes and diapers for the kids.
We also buy generic whenever we can, I don't think the kids know that fruit loops are not really called fruit O's!
This summer I would like to start a garden, my thumb is pretty much brown though so we will see how that goes!
So I want to know, how do you save money?
